Rotating machinery such as auxiliary systems and parts such as compressors, pumps, motors and presses should all be regularly maintained and monitored. MSM-2 sensors provide for the simple, consistent and effective collection of vibration and temperature data from pumps, motors, fans, bearings and many other types of equipment. When combined with the Machine Sentry® software, they create a unique asset reliability management solution which integrates all condition monitoring techniques and watch-keeping data.

The MSM-2 sensor incorporates a four-channel multiplexed data acquisition system, which utilises three internal accelerometers to give full 3-axis support. An additional sensor or fixed protection panel can be connected to the fourth channel.

Intelligent data compression utilities optimise the amount of data stored internally. The time waveform is stored in a high-definition raw format giving maximum flexibility for post-processing.

The Machine Sentry® MSM2 sensor can be paired to any Android 6.0.1+ tablet or smart phone using Bluetooth® 5.2 LE communication to provide safe and efficient data collection from up 100m away. Assets which would normally be difficult to monitor using a traditional wired accelerometer can now be measured with ease.
